Education Manager - Island Farm - Manteo, NC

The intent of the Education Manager position at Island Farm is to lead all aspects of visiting school and large groups, coordinate the site’s volunteer program, and to serve as a critical member of core, full-time staff that complete a variety of seasonal duties. The Education Manager will work diligently to communicate the mission of Island Farm to the public through a variety of ways. This is a full-time position; the salary range is $38,000-$43,000/year.

Primary Responsibilities

·    Recruit, coordinate details for, and greet visiting school/large groups
·    Manage Island Farm’s volunteer program
·     Perform key tasks to implement large events, working with other Farm staff
·      Connect with visitors and supporters through various media platforms
·      Work closely with other leadership staff and serve as an integral part of the Island Farm team
