Details: Be a part of history and join Chesapeake Bay Maritime Museum (CBMM) Shipyard Programs Manager Jennifer Kuhn and Historic St. Mary’s City’s (HSMC) shipwright Jim Knowles, for this one-day workshop to make handmade blocks for Maryland Dove. These blocks are integral to the ship’s rigging and will be used throughout for raising and lowering the sails. Not only will you be learning a new skill but your work will be part of the new Maryland Dove currently under construction at CBMM.
