    Coach and Livestock Department

    Full time position (40 hours a week) with benefits

    The primary part of the job is to work with two or three teams of oxen in the historic area. The work would include, but is not limited to, giving rides in a cart to visitors, hauling items around the historic area such as coal, wood, manure and various items for the trades department, plowing, logging, interpreting oxen to large and small groups informally and at scheduled talks. The Ox Driver would work with the Coach and Livestock staff and with numerous trades people in the historic area. We are looking for an individual who can work well alone and with others, who is self-motivated.

    This is a costumed position, working in all types of weather and working a flexible schedule which can include weekends, evenings and holidays. The position requires the ability to walk a distance every day and lift 50+ pounds.
