Membership includes the following:

* Four issues of the quarterly ALHFAM Bulletin
* Reduced registration fees for the annual conference
* Reduced prices for the annual conference Proceedings
* Access to the members-only features of this web site, including:

- the online Replica Resource List,
- the online Membership Directory
- and past issues of the ALHFAM Bulletin online.

Membership also entitles you to become a subscriber to ALHFAM’s e-mail discussion list, ALHFAM-L. More Information on the Benefits of Membership.

Membership is for one year from the date dues are received.

All members receive quarterly issues of the ALHFAM Bulletin, reduced registration fee for the Annual Conference, and reduced prices on other publications. Members may join the online discussion list and have access to the member's-only content of the website. Members also receive regional newsletters and meeting notices. Membership is for one year from month of receipt

Supporting, Institutional, Library & Patron level members, in addition, receive the Proceedings as a benefit of membership.

Joint membership is for two voting members at the same address who receive one set of mailings and a copy of the Proceedings.

Institutional (not-for-profit) members may send staff, paid or unpaid, to the Annual Conference at the reduced registration fee and list job openings on the website at no fee. Staff of institutional members may join the online discussion list and have access to the member's-only content of the website.

Business Associate (for profit) membership includes a listing on the website with a link, inclusion in the Replica Resource List and opportunities to exhibit at annual and regional meetings.

 

Carolyn Dilda’s short film was the winning entry in our first digital video contest.  Announced in 2008, the contest was introduced to encourage and publicize the advantages of membership and reach new audiences.  Carolyn’s beautifully executed digital video shares her passion for historic foodways. In a 2-3 minute digital video, harness your passion for living history to reflect ALHFAM’s aims, activities, enthusiasm, and inclusiveness.
